Making my own workout program at home

It all started with a long walk around the neighborhood.

Ever since I was a teenager and first learned to drive, I drove everywhere.

It didn’t matter if the place was just up the block, I drove. It wasn’t until years later, during the first wave of the COVID quarantine, that I had no place to drive to. I got bored, I wanted to get out but every place was closed and we were all supposed to stay inside. But I do own a few acres of land, so one day I decided to actually go for a walk, and it led me to taking control of my physical health and wellness. I have never gone to a gym, and have no desire to ever go to one. That doesn’t mean that I can’t make a concerted effort to improve my wellness and fitness, which benefits me in many different ways. After one week of daily walks, I noticed I was sleeping better, so I upped my training methods and started pushing myself further and further each day. After a month I had worn down several trails through my property, and decided to push my training methods even farther. Building a shed may not sound like a workout program to you, but that’s because you have never built one by yourself. My goal was to build something just big enough to house a sauna, which is something I could incorporate into my new routine. With all this land, and my own sauna on the way, why would I ever need to go to a gym?
