I live in an older building in a historic village; I certainly enjoy living there because it’s close to lots of parks and small shopping areas; Living in a walkable section easily makes a difference in your quality of life. I’d say the hardest section about this location is having to deal with all of the outdated oak trees that trigger our allergies to infinity and beyond! Pollen from the trees falls on the roof of our building which in turn gets into our It’s in our lease that the two of us are responsible for replacing the air filter every more than one months to make sure the two of us are stopping several pollutants from reaching the direct air the two of us breathe. The two of us stay on top of replacing those filters, however our allergies have been so bad that I started to guess that there was something else the two of us should be doing. I asked our proprietor when was the last time the ductworks had been cleaned because I noticed a lot of dust on the outside of the vent… Air ducts should be cleaned correctly because dust, pollen, dead skin, hair, small creatures, and several other tiny gross things can collect inside of them and be pushed out through the vent, then even with a clear air filter, it can be difficult for the filter to clean all of the air if there is a dense amount of pollution in the ducts. I’m so cheerful that I reached out to our proprietor to get that taken care of because our sinuses believe so much better than they did before.
