We walked around for over 2 hours and I didn’t want to leave
My husband is really into reptiles. I knew that when I married him. He had 2 snakes, a tortoise, and a big lizard when we met. We now have 8 snakes, 3 tortoises, 2 turtles, and 4 lizards. I don’t mind the reptiles. They actually kind of grow on you after a while. But still, I didn’t think we needed any more reptiles. Despite this, my husband insisted that we make the 3 hour drive to go see a reptile expo. He swore he only wanted to look at the reptiles and that he wouldn’t get anything. Of course, I decided to tag along to make sure he kept his word. The only problem is that the A/C doesn’t work in our car. I thought it would be a nice day and comfortable with the windows open. That turned out to be a big mistake. Without A/C it was a very uncomfortable trip. I was sticking to the car seat by the time we arrived at the reptile expo. I was also getting very grumpy. I was certain that the reptile expo would not have air conditioning. After all, reptiles like a lot of heat. So I was convinced we would walk around in a hot gymnasium for a few hours then get back in our hot, un-air conditioned car. I am very glad that I was wrong. Not only did the reptile expo have A/C but the A/C worked perfectly. I was hit by a cool blast of air as soon as we opened the door. It was so nice and refreshing. We walked around for over 2 hours and I didn’t want to leave. There were so many cool reptiles. Having cool A/C didn’t hurt either.
