The Important of Air Quality

Air quality is very important.

It affects your health, your home, and your workplace.

Bad indoor air quality is bad for your health. 90% of our lives are spent indoors around air contaminants. These contaminants are pet dander, dust, fibers, pollen, dirt, and virus causing germs and they are always lurking around everywhere we go. It is necessary to have an air purification system that can purify the air and help destroy and eliminate the germs, and contaminants that can cause sickness. In your home, is where you spend most of your time. An increased level of pollutants in the air at your home can cause problems to your home’s HVAC system. Contaminants can clog blower system elements and the home’s air filters more quickly. This results in your heating and cooling system having to work harder to keep your home at a comfortable temperature. Your air ducts can also become very filthy and air flow within your home will not blow efficiently. We spend about 1/3 of our time in our workplace. Poor air quality here can have a real effect on workplace efficiency. Poor air quality can exacerbate allergies and asthma, cause headaches, watery eyes, and itchy throats. While these symptoms do come and go, prolonged exposure to contaminants in the air can result in skin rashes, lung and breathing issues, and other chronic illnesses. If you are unsure about the air quality in your home or workplace, you can always schedule an in-home analysis with a professional to find out how bad the air quality is and what you can do to improve it for a better quality of air in your home or workplace.
