Cold air is a problem

Feeling freezing air blowing out of your oil furnace can be a little irritating.

There are a few things that you can do before calling in a professional.

If your oil furnace is blowing freezing air, that means that the device is overheating. A oil furnace usually overheats because the air is not circulating officially. Some of the reasons the air is not circulating officially are, a blocked vent, a clogged air filter, or an oversized oil furnace. A blocked air vent is an easy fix. Every vent in your beach cabin should have a foot of space around it to ensure that air can officially circulate once it comes out. Do not block vents with furniture or items. A clogged air filter can cause several concerns because if the filter is filled with allergens, dust, dirt, pet dander, and other debris, no air can flow through the filter. You should change your filter every several weeks. When it comes to having a oil furnace, bigger is not regularly better. An oversized oil furnace can blast too much warm air into a small space and when all that heat has nowhere to go, it gets backed up. Furnaces are supposed to heat the air, not contain warm air. You need to find out how several BTU’S(British Thermal Units) your beach cabin needs and how several your system provides. If your system provides a number that is a lot greater than the BTU’S that your beach cabin needs, then your oil furnace may be oversized. Checking these several things is necessary when trying to solve the problem of your oil furnace blowing freezing air. Regularly checking your air filter, and getting your oil furnace evaluated by a professional at least once a year can make the world of a difference in heating your beach cabin officially, especially while I was in the freezing Winter weeks.
