My partner has been really busy these past few weeks with his work… He’s a certified HVAC professional and he has been with the same business for more than 2 years. He has purchasers who recognizably ask for him! My partner regularly has a steady task either way, but the past few weeks he’s been getting a lot of special requests from VIP purchasers on top of the HVAC business being busier than normal. This is the time of year when people have their HVACs tested and their furnaces checked for the upcoming wintertime weather. Most people around here have done that already but there are more than 2 who wait until the last possible moment, no matter what… However, now it’s past time and almost too late, it’s barely fall and we have already been hit by a snowstorm; so those procrastinators suddenly need their furnaces tested and they want it done now, which is why the HVAC business that my partner works for is suddenly so busy. And my partner gets these special requests, and the purchasers ask for him, which keeps him even busier. Why someone would procrastinate having their gas furnace tested knowing they are susceptible to early wintertime is beyond me. The people I live with and I regularly called for our gas furnace checkup during the final week in August, until my partner became an HVAC professional himself. But now I’m lucky enough not to have to worry about stuff akin to that.
