My husband has been really busy these past few weeks with his work.
- He’s a certified HVAC technician and he has been with the same company for many years.
He has customers who specifically ask for him. My husband always has steady work either way, but the past few weeks he’s been getting a lot of special requests from VIP customers on top of the HVAC company being busier than normal. This is the time of year when people have their HVACs serviced and their furnaces checked for the upcoming winter weather. Most people around here have done that already but there are many who wait until the last minute, no matter what. And, now it’s past time and almost too late. It’s barely fall and we have already been hit by a snowstorm, so those procrastinators suddenly need their furnaces serviced and they want it done now. Which is why the HVAC company that my husband works for is suddenly so busy. And my husband gets these special requests, and the customers ask for him, which keeps him even busier. Why someone would procrastinate having their furnace serviced knowing they are susceptible to early winters is beyond me. Our weather is never predictable and it’s best to be prepared early. Especially knowing that the HVAC service companies would be busier at that time and you would have a longer wait time. We always called for our furnace checkup the last week in September, until my husband became an HVAC technician himself. Now I’m lucky enough not to have to worry about stuff like that.
