HVAC rescue triumph

There are plenty of things to be thankful about.

  • At least, that’s what I keep telling myself.

In a sea of change and difficulty, it is tough to actually remember to pay attention to the things that make life good. There are a myriad of them in all of our lives. It’s just paying attention to them that is the tricky part. I even relish small things like coming home to enjoy the HVAC comfort in my home. The area I live in is unique in the sense that we have a very cold winter but also a hot & humid summer. For some reason, I prefer to be cold than hot. I think this probably runs counter to what most people feel. Coming home to a home that is cozy warm from the HVAC on a cold winter day is great. However, the feeling I have when I come in from outside during the summer is another thing. I just love walking inside to a cool house where the humidity is balanced and it feels so crisp. This is one of the small things that I cherish each day. Then, one day this summer, I didn’t. I came home and the HVAC was off. I called for HVAC service and was told that the HVAC had died. It shouldn’t have been a surprise given the age and condition of the old HVAC. What was a surprise was that I was looking at waiting a month before the HVAC unit I wanted could be shipped. That’s where the HVAC pros stepped in. They gave me 3 portable air conditioning units to use until they could install the new one.
