My bills seem to just overwhelm me. Adulting sure has a lot to do with taking care of my money. There are even instances that I start to really regret all the money it cost to get the education I wanted. However, to do what I wanted to do, I needed a graduate degree. That cost money and my college loan debt is tough to deal with and live any sort of life. When you are a broke college student it is one thing. But now that I am working 40 or 50 hours a week, I would like to have something to show for it. Instead, I am living in an apartment with terrible HVAC heating & cooling. Not only that but I had to take on a roommate to try and defray the costs. I don’t know what it is about apartment HVAC’s but they all seem to be subpar. Maybe they are all out of date or undersized to begin with. All I know is that when I walk in the door after work, I expect to be able to enjoy the cool air. I live in an area where the heat is the big weather situation. To make matters worse, my job also requires field work. So, I am outside much of the week on different project sites. It’s not like I get to wear shorts and a t-shirt either. All I want is to come home and not have to sweat under a fan for an hour because the HVAC can’t handle the demand. I swear, it makes living in my mom and dad’s basement a real consideration.
