For the time being, there’s no heating system in our van.
Unfortunately, it’s the van that we drive every single day for school and work.
When you live in a place with a very cold climate like the one that we live in, you just about have to have a working heating system in your car or van. I would really like to put off having the heating system in the van repaired, since I’m kind of short on money at the moment. But the problem is that winter is coming soon. The weather is already cooling off here considerably, and pretty soon the temperatures are going to be in the single digits. It happens around this time every year, and so I know it’s coming soon! I’m not sure what actually happened to the heater in the car, but one day, it just stopped working. The air conditioning still works and the air vents all still work too. But when I switch the thermostat over from air conditioning to heating, cold air still comes out. It makes no sense. At least the heated seats in the car still work, but that doesn’t really do you any good unless you’re sitting in the front seats. They’re the only seats with heating capabilities. The kids in the back are already whining and complaining about the fact that the heating in the van isn’t working. They say that they freeze the whole time we are in the car. I guess I’m just going to have to take the van into the dealership and have them fix the heating unit professionally. Otherwise, my kids are just going to be riding around under a bunch of blankets for the winter.
