I cannot believe that my husband and I rented an apartment without even asking if it came with air conditioning.
We did not even think to ask about it which is really concerning.
We wrote an entire list of questions that we wanted answered, but we never thought to ask if the apartment came with air conditioning. I wish that we would have asked because it does not have air conditioning. We are stuck using some old window air conditioning units that a couple friends of ours gave to us. They simply do not work well. We are super thankful that they were given to us because we would have been even more upset if we would have paid for them and then found out that they didn’t work well. My husband is frustrated about the fact that we don’t have the kind of air conditioning in the apartment that he thought we would. I honestly thought that we would as well. He is having a harder time with it because he does not do well when it is too warm. He gets hot really easily whereas I don’t. I actually am cold most of the time, especially when my husband controls the temperature. I truly just feel bad for him. I know that he is often very uncomfortable in the apartment because it is just too warm for him in there. We definitely won’t ever make that mistake again. Next time, we will be sure to ask to see if the apartment comes with air conditioning or not. I hope that others learn from our story and remember to consider these things before buying or renting.
