The boss of the company that I work for just built me a completely current office.
I actually have been advancing through the business, and she felt that it would be best for my self-esteem if I had my own office.
Apparently, I had earned the privilege of having my own space. However, the only setback with my current office is that it doesn’t have Heating and Air Conditioning devices to keep me comfortable. Evidently, when they were constructing the office, they didn’t consider how they were going to tie in the ducts for the heating device and the a/c that kept the rest of the building nice and toasty. Our building was a huge stone building, and you cannot easily get Heating and Air Conditioning ducts to link to additions built on this particular building. However, nobody mentioned the Heating and Air Conditioning device complication to my boss, who had all of my stuff moved in. The lack of Heating and Air Conditioning devices isn’t a sizable problem when the door to my office is open… Since it is a stone room, it insulates heat and frosty temperatures honestly well, so I don’t lose it easily. The heating device and a/c can condition the room through the open door. However, when I shut my door, I totally cut myself off from the Heating and Air Conditioning devices in the building. In the summer, it means that my room gets somewhat stuffy, which isn’t bad. However, in the winter, my room becomes extremely chilly without a heating system. I am going to have to convince my boss to purchase a small a/c device and a small space heating device for my room. I am also considering a ductless mini-split a/c HVAC. That would accomplish both goals.
