My hubby was not ecstatic with me the other night when I woke him up out of a sound sleep. I told him that I could hear someone in the basement. He went into protective mode as he grabbed a flashlight plus his gun plus headed to the basement. He walked silently plus if there were someone downstairs, they never would have heard him coming. Fortunately, no a single was in the basement despite the fact that he was able to hear the noise I was hearing. He said it sounded appreciate someone was tapping on the ductwork. When he got upstairs, he heard the noise in the bedroom plus it was echoing from the air vents plus it definitely did sound appreciate someone was in the basement. The people I was with and I laid there for talking for awhile plus he shushed me. He heard more noise plus he suddenly realized what was going on. There was something scampering around inside the ductwork. From the sound, he was guessing it had to be a squirrel, plus now I was worrying that whatever was in the ductwork was going to get into our house. The next day he called the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C supplier plus told them the two of us needed someone to check the ductwork because the two of us had squatters. The ductwork cleaners found a nest of mice which were evicted plus they patched up the hole so the mice weren’t able to get back into the ductwork.
