How cold does it go?

I have been married for enough years to assume that we all have our faults and we try to be on our best behavior until you have been together for awhile.

I saw small glimpses of my husband’s eccentric behavior, however I didn’t assume how exhausting he was until we were married for about six months.

I thought his frugality was cute and I saw it as wanting to save money. He began to lose some of his cuteness when Winter arrived. I thought the lock boxes were over the thermostat because we were living in a rental home. I never actually questioned it because I had lived in an lake house where I wasn’t allowed to change the temperature. Last week, I found out that it was my husband who had installed the lock box. He said his parents were coming for Christmas and since his mom was always cold, he was going to up the temperature on the thermostat. He pulled out a small key and he reset the thermostat so his mother would be warmer. I asked him how he was able to play with the thermostat since this was an apartment. He laughed and told me the lock box was his. I had been cold for over a month and he hadn’t even offered to up the thermostat for me. Just how cold did it need to get in this house? When he went to work, I got some tools and I detachd the lock box from the thermostat. I was waiting for his reaction when he got lake house from work because I had it sitting in his recliner. He didn’t say a word as he moved it to the side table.
