Every single time he decided to do some household chores, I had to call a specialist to come out shortly thereafter and finish the work.
I mean, my partner means well when he starts these projects and he actually is an intelligent man. After a couple of hours of work, however, he gets distracted by something else and he leaves whatever he is doing for some other project. This time, he decided he was going to work on the old oil furnace. I asked him if there was something wrong with the ancient oil furnace. He told myself and others that it was just time for the oil furnace to be properly cleaned and he was going to tackle it this year. I picked up the cellphone to immediately call the Heating and A/C company, but after that I thought maybe I was being too hard on him and I should allow him the option to do it. I listened to the loud sound dock go on as he started to go to the oil furnace room shortly thereafter. I heard him talking to the oil furnace as he tinkered with it and banged on it, and after that I heard him talking to the laptop in hushed tones. I heard him listening to YouTube videos and then he disappeared downstairs again. I was hoping he had gone back to the oil furnace, but I was actually quite afraid he hadn’t. I had finished getting dinner and I went straight downstairs to get him. I had oil furnace parts spread all over the basement floor and he was nowhere to be found. I then went outside and I found him in the garage, actually working on the car.
