One thing I really hated growing up when going to school was having to eat lunch at the cafeteria.
The food they had in there was really awful.
I always dreaded having to buy my lunch there if I didn’t pack a lunch for the morning. But, i really loved going into the cafeteria itself because towards the end of the fall semester, when it would start getting really overheated outside, they would have the really best air conditioning method in the entire building! The air conditioning in the main area of the school didn’t really work that great all the time, then so at times, you would be really dripping with sweat up a storm trying to combat the heat outside. But, when lunch time came, you could always look forward to cooling off in the air conditioning. They had a commercial central HVAC method in the school. The heating always worked pretty well, however something with the cooling just didn’t work. A lot of the youngsters used to complain, including me, however I suppose the school was on such a slim budget, that they didn’t do anything about it. I mean, the least they coulda done was get a certified HVAC specialist out there to service the commercial heating & cooling system! This was several years ago now, & I bet this month at that school, they more than likely have great air conditioning! With the way Heating, Ventilation, & A/C technology has gone, if they didn’t have great air conditioning, I would be highly surprised & suppose someone would throw a loss suit at them.
