Whenever I change my air filter I notice that there is a lot of suction in the duct.
It is very taxing to get the seasoned air filter out or put the up-to-date a single in.
It feels care about there is some sort of vacuum in the duct. I did not believe much about it though. I just figured that the HVAC plan was different in this up-to-date home than it had been in our seasoned place. But lately, I have been noticing that my air conditioner is not laboring & it usually does. It seems care about there is not much air flow at all. I finally decided to call out an HVAC service contractor to see if it needed a tune-up or something. The professional who came out also noticed the suction in the duct near my air filter, but she said that that is not normal & it usually indicates some sort of clog in the intake duct. She opened up the intake duct cover & found the source of my troubles: there was an seasoned filter that someone had put in the intake vent. It did not belong there & had really been there for years. The filter was so dirty; it was disgusting. It was this filth that was causing the air flow problem, however once the misplaced filter was detachd, my HVAC plan worked great again & the vacuum effect went away immediately. I was glad that it was such an easy fix. However, I was also disturbed that my family had been breathing this nasty, dirty air ever since both of us moved into this up-to-date home 4 years ago.
