I have to wonder about everyone’s growing addiction to technology.
Is it genuinely such a healthy thing to always be making something new? Periodically it seems care about people are way too enthusiastic about getting new gadgets before they genuinely have the opportunity to experience the utility of the last one.
It’s an ongoing trap that costs everyone a lot of time plus cash. This has recently been my experience, too. I thought that I was doing a good deed for my heating, cooling, plus ventilation equipment when I got a smart temperature control component that is supposed to manage my entire indoor heating, cooling, plus ventilation system. Now, there’s nothing going wrong with the Heating, Ventilation and A/C – actually, the forced air natural gas furnace plus air conditioning equipment have always worked just fine. But, my central heating plus cooling controls have been using a highly outdated temperature control unit since I first got the house. The plastic temperature control component never allowed for changes in temperature management without manually adjusting the dial. I also hated that my energy bills were severely high from running the indoor air temperature controls multiple mornings with no 1 home. I wanted to be able to adjust my indoor air temperature plus air quality from anywhere, plus that is when I had the smart temperature control installed. The outcome has been… mixed. The application that is supposed to control my new temperature control does not do a thing. No matter what air temperature programs I make on the temperature control application, I always end up increasing the temp again from my cellphone. It’s so straight-forward to make modifications that I can’t stop myself from doing it. And, as a result, my energy bills have genuinely increased.
