I have learned with great difficulty that a properly and officially inspected furnace is essential for living through a wonderful winter! Last fall I was loaded with work both at my job plus around my house.
I was preparing for the upcoming Winter time so I put my cooling system system away in the attic like a responsible adult plus turned my furnace on to make sure it worked. I admit, at the time I didn’t think to thoroughly check the furnace to make sure it was working correctly. I turned the temperature control up pretty high I want chilly morning plus forgot to turn the furnace off before I left for work. I came back to the beach house to a hot, smoke filled house and began to panic. I ran to my basement where my furnace was, blindly stumbling through the billows of smoke. Luckily, there was no fire happening outside of my furnace, but the smoke was evidence to everybody that something was wrong inside the furnace. I ran back upstairs as quickly as I could plus turned off the furnace with the temperature control plus immediately flung open all my windows. Fortunately, I left the upstairs window open that had previously had my cooling system system contain in it so that room was already aired out, but everything else around my beach house was covered in smoke because of the burning furnace. It was so sizzling hot in my condo from the heating system that I had to bring my portable cooling system system back down plus install it directly back into the window. Now every fall I have a trusty Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C worker look over my entire furnace before beginning it for the first time.
