There was a box of air filters right next to the HVAC unit so I don’t know why these people weren’t changing out their air filters
I’ve honestly never been a huge fan of parties but I went to this one that my buddies invited me to. Since I am an HVAC technician, I noticed there was a big problem with the air quality right away. I didn’t want to offend anybody though so I didn’t say anything about this issue at first. I was relaxed and having an okay time after having a few drinks and talking with some of the people. That’s when there was a loud noise followed by the HVAC system shutting off. I knew what that meant and I told the owner of the house that I was an HVAC technician and I could have a look at the HVAC if he wanted. The owner couldn’t believe that he already had an HVAC technician at his place when he needed one. When I looked everything over, the problem was something that I take care of all the time, so I was able to get the HVAC up in running within the hour. Everybody was really happy when I got the HVAC working again and I also went ahead and changed the air filter because of the air quality being so poor. There was a box of air filters right next to the HVAC unit so I don’t know why these people weren’t changing out their air filters. I didn’t ask for anything in return and I was getting tired so I decided to go home. This is basically why I don’t enjoy going to parties, there’s a bunch of wild people and the experience is never really memorable for me.
