It is almost 11am and I will write for another 15 minutes and then give my eyes a break for an hour and get outside.
- I live in a very small town of maybe 20K people at the most, and it is really quiet here during the winter.
But when summer rolls around the population swells to about 45K people for about two or three months. It is a bit hectic during those months but it is a small price to pay for living in such a cool little beach town on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. The local businesses get really busy during the summer and the heating and cooling corp where I work is slammed for the summer months as well. We get so busy during the summer months that we need to add a bunch of manpower to be able to keep up with all of the new work coming in. It is busy for a/c service and sales and also a lot of people need their ductwork cleaned because of allergies to all of the oak trees in town. I think the pollen starts to fly around in the middle of April and it doesn’t slow down till the end of October when all of the leaves start to turn colors and fall off of the trees. I use my whole home air purifier a lot during the spring and summer to keep the air quality in my flat good during the months when the pollen count is the highest. Then I turn it off for the winter.
