I was out with my buddy yesterday walking his dog.
It seems like every time a woman comes around with a dog he has to hit on her and try to ask her out.
It is kind of irritating because he is desperately looking for someone and ends up scaring them away by being too aggressive. He immediately hones in on them and tries to figure out how to ask them out, only to get shot down in the end because they just want him as a friend. I told him he needs to chill out like air conditioning, but he doesn’t get it. He is going to end up burning all the bridges with these women and end up back at square one alone. The local business where he works is quite busy and he could meet someone there if he was just nice to the HVAC customers and not so desperate. Some people don’t want to be alone and try to jump to the next person as soon as they break up. I work on a lot of oil and gas furnaces and get to meet a lot of women that way, but I am not in a rush to just be with anyone and am taking my time while I plug away working for the local contractor in town. But then again, I’ve been alone for over a year now and one day I’d like to find someone special to spend my life with before I get too old. Maybe the HVAC tech at work could be a possible date one day, but no rush.
