Hydronic heating & life

Life is like a film, & I was telling a young friend last night who was stressed out, to just watch the film unfold in front of him & to just observe it.

I told him to take a timeout several times a day & do this technique where you just observe what is happening in front of you without judging or thinking about it.

It is a learned skill however if he works on it he can quiet his mind down some & find a bit of peace during the days. I’ve been meditating for years ever since the Heating & Air Conditioning specialist got me into it when my buddy and I were working together at the Heating & Air Conditioning business about 12 years ago. I feel it was absolutely back in 2004 when I began meditating a bit in my home, which means it has been almost 20 years since I started doing it on my own. I would stare at my media air cleaner while it was running & just clear my mind while I sat for an hour in my little air conditioned studio back in the States. I’ve gained a lot of benefits from doing bi-weekly yoga & meditation for the past almost 20 years, & I will keep working on it each day, pushing myself to meditate even more. My gas fireplace is a great spot for meditation as I kneel on my sofa & watch the flames dance while keeping the thoughts out of my mind. When a thought comes in I gently let it go & go back to the stillness of my mind.
