I am used to going to work every single day.
I am normally in my office for about ten hours a day.
I got a promotion about three years ago and ever since then my workload has almost tripled. It has been hard to find a balance, but I really do love the work I do and I think I could do it for the rest of my life so I am willing to put in the work in order to reach my career goals. Well about a month ago my company decided that everyone would start working from home with everything going on in the world. I really didn’t want to start working from home because I didn’t think that I would be as productive. However, fast forward three weeks later and I am loving it! I have been way more productive than I thought I would be and I have actually been able to get more work done without people bothering me all day. Two days ago I hit a snag when my HVAC system stopped working and had to call a local HVAC company to come out to my house and service my HVAC system. I had no idea what was wrong with my HVAC system but I was happy that I didn’t have to take any time off of work because I was already working from home. I was able to be there right when the HVAC worker arrived and supervise the appointment so I would know exactly what was wrong with my HVAC system!
