I am currently a college student and I have to study crazy hours every week in order to keep up in all my classes.
I really hate to study, but I want to get into grad school once I graduate so I have to keep up with my grades.
I can’t study in my room either because my roommate is so loud and annoying. She is constantly having people over and partying. She will stay out until five in the morning and make a ton of noise when she gets in making food and listening to music. I have asked her if she would be a little quieter especially when I was studying, but I don’t think my talk with her helped at all. Ever since I said something she has been even louder and more annoying than usual. I have decided that I am going to start studying in the computer lab. The main reason that I didn’t want to study in there in the first place was because they keep the air conditioner blasting. I think they are trying to help keep kids awake while they study with the freezing cold air, but it has the opposite effect on me. I really hate being cold and the computer lab thermostat is always set to sixty-five no matter what. It can be the middle of the winter and the air conditioner is still pumping. I think I am just going to have to get used to it at this point because I don’t think things are going to get any better between my roommate and I any time soon.
