I recently graduated from college and I have never lived on my own before.
I very wanted to get my own place after graduation so that I would know what it was like to live by myself.
So far I have lived alone for about three months and I very love it. I didn’t guess I would like to live alone so much, even though I can’t guess I didn’t try it sooner. I guess I was trying to save money while in school, but still living alone is the best. I didn’t realize that having roommates was such a burden until I moved out on my own, however one thing I have noticed since living alone is that I can set the temperature control to whatever temperature I want. I know this sounds like a funny thing to guess about, but when you have a roommate it is a constant battle over the temperature control. One always wants it cold and the other always wants it warm; Now, I don’t have to confrontation with anyone over the temperature control because it is my choice what to set it on. I don’t know how I am ever going to live with someone again after this year of living by myself. It is more extravagant to live alone, but so far I have found that all the extra money is worth it. I didn’t guess that having control over my heating and cooling system was going to have such a positive effect on my life this swiftly!
