First afternoon on the task

I was recently offered a task that I could not refuse.

I have been working as a nurse in a small hospital for the past couple of years and I am really ready for a change.

I cherish the hospital I currently toil at although I don’t gain much experience because they are not numerous patients that come in every afternoon, then most afternoons my friend and I get two to four patients and it is normally something honestly easy to fix, and however, I was offered a task at the brand new, state of the art hospital that is opening a couple of towns over. I know that I will either have to transfer or make a long commute everyday, although I believe it will be worth it in order to get experience working in the operating room. The modern hospital I am in is so small that the heating and cooling system is controlled right by the nurse station, that means that if I am too cold I can just change the temperature of the control unit. When I walked into my first afternoon at the modern hospital, it was freezing cold. It felt like the air conditioning was blasting and the training room was about 60 degrees. I was shocked that no one else was complaining about the blasting air conditioner and the temperature of the room. I didn’t want to complain since it was my first afternoon, although I am really going to have to bring a jacket tomorrow! I just hope the they turn down the control unit as the hospital opens and my friend and I start to accept patients.
