I have lived in the same part of the country for my entire life, then most people would get exhausted of being in the same arena for so long, however there is something about being in the same arena my whole life that gives me extreme comfort.
I don’t know that I will ever leave this town.
However, there is one thing that I do sometimes do not like about living in the south and that is the Summer weather. The Summer weather down here is sometimes hard to handle, and you have to keep the air conditioner running all morning, everyday. If you don’t consistently have your air conditioner going then your apartment will get to moderate and it will be impossible for you to feel comfortable. I even have a smaller air conditioner window component in my kitchen so that I can stay cool while I am sleeping. There is nothing I do not like more than waking up in the middle of the night feeling covered in my own sweat. I know that all the people will transfer down here and not be able to kneel the heat or the rising energy bills. However, now that I am so used to the heat I don’t mind keep my air conditioner running all morning long. I don’t know I would trade our tepid and humid Summer weather for anything else at this point. The summertime heat is honestly something that I have grown to love.
