I felt bad for the cooling professional this week.
It was an undoubtedly boiling hot afternoon in the summer, and the temperatures were reaching the 90s already.
However, of course that is when my a/c equipment decided to go out on me. There was no way I could go without cool a/c in these kinds of weather conditions, and so I called a heating and cooling professional to come and repair the HVAC unit for me. To be honest, I was fully expecting that they would be too busy and would have to come out on a different afternoon. Because usually when it is super boiling like this week, they have a lot of appointments with other people in the same situation. But no, they actually had availability and could send a heating and cooling worker out in a few hours. When the a/c specialist arrived she started laboring on my cooling unit instantly. I watched from my window out of curiosity. I kind of felt bad for the cooling professional though, because as she was laboring on the cooling machine I could tell she was perspiring badly, laboring in that boiling hot weather. I made sure to get her a cold glass of water when she was done repairing the a/c device to show my thanks for bringing comfort in my house again. It took about 25 minutes, however then she was done and she was grateful for the cold drink. I told her she could take the cold drink with her and thanked her again for her taxing work on such a boiling hot afternoon.
