I chose to make a major investment decision today. And that is the fact that this coming winter season I am going to be buying radiant floors for my entire place. My central heating and air conditioner’s boiler takes up so much energy each year that the bills that come with it make me go close to broke! However, by making the large investment into radiant heated floors for my property, I can end up saving so much money that the energy savings within itself can make it so that the radiant floors will essentially pay for themselves a few years down the road. I think of it sort of like taking a loan against myself and then the radiant heated floors will cover the cost in small yearly installments over the next 2 to 4 years. Isn’t that an interesting concept? The radiant floors will be laboring for me to totally pay me back in time! This is what entirely sealed the deal in my head to decide to do this. It will be a win-win all around for me by investing into radiant floors for my entire property and then getting rid of the central heating and air conditioner’s boiler and just have it become an official central air conditioner. I wish I could do something similar for air conditioning for certain, however they have not yet invented floors that can provide cooling to your property. Maybe eventually, Heating and A/C technology will make this happen.
