I was getting ready to go and have lunch with Milly.
She and I have been friends for a long time, and she has the most amazing soul.
I regularly feel happier and more grateful for life when my great friend and I meet and have a heart to heart. Well, this time I was running a little late because my cabin was so cold, milly wanted us to meet a bit earlier so we’d have lunch and then try to catch a film. When I got into my car, I made sure to turn the heating all the way up so I’d feel better. I had an Heating & Air Conditioning tech come to the cabin earlier that week, and he informed me that he had some exhausting news. My heat pump had failed, and there was no way to service it. The best thing to do was pay for a new heat pump and install it in my home. I took some time to look into my financial situation and concluded a new heat pump would have to wait. I’d done a major investment the previous year, so I didn’t have enough money to buy a new heat pump. The next chance was to go for Heating & Air Conditioning financing, but I’m not a pressing fan of debt so I thought against that option. My only option was to wait several months and save up for the new heat pump. In the meantime, I’d have to figure out the best way to heat my dwelling during the remaining months of winter. Milly came to my rescue and informed me about a Heating & Air Conditioning store giving discounts on space heaters. I could get two to three space heating systems and use them until I was ready to get the new heat pump.
