We really want to go to the zoo later this week but it’s been really cold around here.
I think that it should have started heating up by now but it’s just staying a lot colder than it should, in my opinion. I mean, technically, it is already spring And so I think that it should be heating up outside by now. It is sunny, but it is still windy and cold for the most part. We are still having to use our furnace all the time, especially at night. The temperature starts falling in the late afternoon and then by the time it’s time to go to bed, we are all really cold inside of the house. I guess I just really think that it should be warm and sunny all the time by the time Easter comes around, and that’s just not happening this year for some reason. I am ready to turn the furnace off for the year! We have had to pay some really high heating bills over the winter, and I am just ready to stop paying them! I think that there might be something wrong with our ductwork sealing somewhere because there is no reason that our heating bill should be so high. There must be some leakage somewhere in the ventilation system where the heating is leaking out. I guess we are going to have to pay for a professional HVAC company to come in and check all of the ductwork and hopefully fix it. Anyway, I just don’t think that it is warm enough yet to go to the zoo. Even though they do have quite a few indoor enclosures, I still think that they need to have portable heating units outside here and there.
