It has been a long while with no water heating equipment and we both have been taking chilly showers each night, which doesn’t help me get much sleep as it wakes me up a lot when the chilly water hits my tired moderate skin
I am knocking out my blogs soon so that I can have some spare time to go for a long bike ride before it gets too sizzling and humid out. I will hit the shore for a little while and eat my plum and kefir lunch while looking out at the vast black sea before me. I haven’t owned a car or an apartment for about ten years now and the simplicity of the life I have chosen has given me lots of freedom and pleasure I normally wouldn’t have if living the life I was living back in the States. Heating and A/C repair is my regular job each week here, although I only work for the local supplier about fifteen hours a week, and the rest of my time is spent working on my spirit and my body. I read old books each night for my mind although I also spend a lot of time in silence to help keep me feeling calm and relaxed. This weekend is a large one as we finally get a sizzling water heating system installed and will get our sizzling showers back again. I will have to take a chilly shower today and tomorrow and Sunday, but come Sunday we will be back to sizzling showers and happiness.
