It is almost time to start using my little fan.
- I have an easy life now but my simplicity still can’t escape the heat that is coming soon, so having a little rotating fan aimed at me while I am working is such a lovely thing for keeping it easy instead of running the fancy main unit.
I told my friend last night that I only work about 15 to 17 hours a week and she couldn’t feel it! My associate and I are going to have a nice dinner soon and I am going to tell her the secrets of working part time. The Heating and A/C contractor I work for pays me well to come in a couple hours a week to do inventory, and I also have three to six other income streams from heating and cooling work. I’ve been working this way since leaving the grinding 50 hour workweek at the corporate prison back in 1999. If I was still building Heating and A/C systems like I had been doing I never would have been able to live my dreams overseas or get into the performing arts as heavy as I did. There is just no time or motivation left when you work a fulltime job and own a large apartment and a lot of toys like I did. I worked as a certified cooling tech all day at the office and after that we would drive my air conditioned car to my lavish apartment for 30 minutes and work more when I got to my lavish apartment with my chores. My whole life seemed to be consumed by work and I grew fatigued from it, so when I was 38 I left it behind.
