Even before my fiance got home, I had called the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C company & made an appointment to have the heating system repaired! I wasn’t sure if it was the heating system, or something to do with the igniter, but it was steadily getting colder as the afternoon wore on, then when the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C contractor arrived, he went over the heating system, & then he took care of a few other things. He told me I was right about it being the igniter… Luckily, he had an igniter switch in the service, & it should be fixed within half an hour. I was blissful it was a simple fix, although I had called & told them I had no heat, but the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C company put it down as an emergency because the temperatures were hastily falling. I needed someone to our condo before the blizzard started, by the time my fiance got into the house, the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C contractor was gone, but the bill was on the table. He took one look at the bill & hit the ceiling. He wanted to know why it cost so much for the heating system repair? I explained to him they were trying to get someone to the condo before the snow started. When they mentioned a blizzard, I panicked & told them this was an emergency. He took a deep breath & walked away from me! At least we were going to have heat regardless of what the weather brings because I called the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C company. I’m sure he still isn’t going to be thrilled, but if I had waited to call the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C company, we may have been going without heat when the storm finally hits.
