Thomas is my colleague that I have known for a decade, and my pal and I first met during the interview stages of the jobs my associate and I now hold, and as young people looking to start our careers, my associate and I were so naive, & had much to learn… Now, my associate and I have more experience, & there is so much that has changed, but for example, I am now married & have two daughters… Thomas, on the other hand, is the eternal bachelor who is mostly focused on his career! But, I know he is a bit lonely & has been thinking about giving dating another chance.
About 2 years ago, he had a lady, although she broke his heart & it has taken Thomas some time to reuse.
At that time, he became close with my spouse when I invited him for dinners with my family. Now, he is part of the family, & is always at my cabin each Monday! Last week, Thomas was complaining about his faulty cooling system. Apparently, the cooling component had failed the previous night, & he hadn’t had it fixed, then work was crazy, so my associate and I didn’t have lots of time to be at dwelling to wait for an Heating, Ventilation & A/C worker to come by, however so, I understood why Thomas felt angry because of the cooling system. I told him he was better off hiring an Heating, Ventilation & A/C worker for emergency repair & paying extra. They’d send them to his cabin no matter the time, as long as he knew emergency repair costs weren’t the same as those for normal working hours. Thomas agreed & said he didn’t mind paying extra as long as someone went to maintenance the faulty cooling system.
