My neighbors just saved my life by giving me various flu symptom pills. I haven’t felt this kind of flu symptom stuff for a long time, and it all started on Friday with the wind. My bandmate and I played Friday evening for several hours and I felt so sleepy and didn’t know why. I felt like we lost whatever magic we once had, but after several afternoons I have discovered the culprit. I know it has been so long since having any allergies that I forgot all about them. I just took a Claritin pill and am lying by my air cleaner trying to clear my lungs. I did a little neti pot rinse of my sinuses and within about three hours my allergies should be all gone. That is how long the local business told me the flu symptom pills take to work. They said with some people you can feel relief within an hour, so let us see if I am one of those “some people”. I am going to run the gas fireplace tonight when we get back from playing on the pier once the temps drop down a bit. My bandmate and I will listen to our music and try to decide which song we want to put online. I hope the heating and cooling expert comes out with her tambourine and joins us because it helps fill in the music a lot. She is good at playing it and it is a lot of fun, and hopefully she can play with us the entire time we are out there.
