I called the Heating and A/C supplier Last weekbecause I was having troubles with my gas furnace.
I had been told that if we had any further troubles, we would entirely look at a new gas furnace instead of just repairs.The people I was with and I were prepared for this inevitability, however when the Heating and A/C professional, it didn’t surprise us when he said we needed a new gas furnace… Not only did we wait for him to talk about new gas furnaces, however my husband I welcomed it.
What we didn’t welcome was how the Heating and A/C professional approached the subject of a new gas furnace. The people I was with and I expected him to either offer to have an Heating and A/C contractor come to the house, or tell us about weird gas furnaces. He said nothing about gas furnaces, but he said we should let him tell us about the Heating and A/C idea he had on sale. The people I was with and I didn’t need a new Heating and A/C system. All we needed was a new gas furnace, and not an a/c unit. I tried to tell him I didn’t want a complete Heating and A/C system, but he insisted. He said that if the gas furnace had gone, the a/c component would not be far behind. The people I was with and I had bought the a/c component less than more than one years ago. Why would I get rid of it now? When he kept talking about the full Heating and A/C system, I told him we had to think about it. As soon as he was gone, I called the Heating and A/C supplier and asked them to send out an Heating and A/C contractor to talk about a new gas furnace for our home, less than a month later, our new gas furnace was installed, and the heat was better than we had in years.
