I need good air for repainting

Once I started painting my husband made the wonderful suggestion that when I’m finished I should turn the air conditioning system on high so that there would be a cold blast of air flying through the air vent into the room.

When my wife and I first moved into our new house we decided that we wanted to do some remodeling. It was our first real home together and while all the parts of the house we absolutely loved, there was one room that drove the two of us crazy, the graffiti room. Someone decided to spray graffiti as a type of paint all over the inside of one of the bedrooms. This was from the previous owners of the home and I guess they thought this was a stylish choice, but in my personal opinion it was hideous. It had to go and I was going to paint over it with one of my favorite colors of paint. This graffiti wasn’t even the artistic kind either. it was mostly just scribbles. One thing was for sure that I was not going to miss it when it was gone. Once I started painting my husband made the wonderful suggestion that when I’m finished I should turn the air conditioning system on high so that there would be a cold blast of air flying through the air vent into the room. At first I didn’t understand why he wanted me to do this. Did he want me to freeze or what? The AC system is very efficient at cooling and I would get cold very fast. Then he explained to me that his idea was to use the air conditioning system to allow the paint to dry faster. I realized that was a great idea, he just told me to make sure that once I turned on the AC to the cold temperatures that I do after I was finished so I wouldn’t be cold.
