Being forced to cross state lines for a furnace

I knew exactly which heating plan I really wanted in my home.

I had been doing research for at least a year, and I finally found an oil furnace that had high efficiency in heating and energy use.

It wasn’t even a name brand oil furnace, and it wasn’t made in the US, but it was totally perfect. I talked to the heating, ventilation and A/C supplier and asked if they could get the oil furnace for me, but they couldn’t… The woman at the nearby heating, ventilation and A/C supplier told me the oil furnace wasn’t here in our area, and it would be impossible to afford the shipping to get it for my house. I didn’t understand what he was saying, and I mentioned it to him. I wanted that oil furnace and I was going to get it, even if I had to cross state lines and get the oil furnace for myself; he told me to go ahead, although he could almost guarantee the oil furnace would not be available. The only way to get that recognizable oil furnace was to order it from overseas and have it drop shipped to my home. That seemed to be something I should do, so I went online and looked the oil furnace up. The true cost of drop shipping was actually high, however I would have what I wanted. I put in the order and almost fainted when I saw the bottom line. I went ahead and paid for the oil furnace and waited… A full six weeks later, I still hadn’t acquired notice of its shipping. I called the manufacturing supplier, but no 1 spoke English. I tried to contact the seller, however I got no satisfaction. I spent nearly double the price for this oil furnace, and it looked like I wasn’t going to actually receive it.
