Time to Crawl in Dad's Attic to Repair Some Ductwork Issues

I am going to have to crawl in mom’s attic to toil on some air duct later this evening when things get a bit cooler outside.

I think that either the rats got in and chewed it all up or it just fell apart from the heat.

Either way, I am going to go up there once I believe ready for it and try to get the job done. I am a certified Heating and Air Conditioning specialist and have been working on air duct for numerous years now, so this job should be easy and done in no time. It is summer time now and it is entirely warm out, so doing this repair job is going to have to be done in the middle of the night or I may die of heat stroke up there. I am not sure what the temperature gets up to in the attic here however I bet it is somewhere around the 140F range… I think a lot of the A/C’s cold air is going up there when she runs the Heating and Air Conditioning system to cool down the house. But it doesn’t entirely cool it down there because the crawl space doesn’t have any vents in it and just gets way too hot. The cool air from the Heating and Air Conditioning system may come out some up there but it isn’t enough to entirely cool it down at all. I will go up there in a couple of hours with our flashlight and BB gun in case there are any rats that need to be detachd. Wish me luck on this a single!
