There had been some talk about opening a regional office down south but it had pretty much just been talk. But it took a really long time for it to manifest into a viable option for the company. It was a good thing that I was working from the commercial HVAC of our offices at the corporate headquarters. Going south was really something exciting for me. This has to do with the fact that my wife is from the south and has really been missing that region. She’s been such a good soldier the last 7 years by dealing with all the gas furnace heating that we need all winter. Yep, we got to a point where we wanted to settle down and start a family. This was something that we both wanted to do down south. Having gone to college in the South, I knew a little bit about it and that’s where I met my wife. Being from the north, the winters and all the gas furnace heating is something that I’m quite accustomed to. However, having spent all those years enjoying the mild winters during college, I was very eager to get to where I it was just a smattering of HVAC heating during the winter with a heat pump. Once I found out the company was indeed opening a new branch, I got involved. We are now enjoying the trade off for the gas furnace to a heat pump. It’s October, and for the first time in a very long time I’m not at all worried about going into the winter.
