This week, we are finally going to be choosing air vent covers for the house.
It has been a long coming, that’s for sure! We have been working on this project in our house for so long now that I was starting to think that it was never going to get finished. It has just been one of those things that took way longer than I thought it was going to take. Everything seemed to take twice as long as it should have. It has been super frustrating for everyone involved, that’s for sure. Even the general contractor that we used said that this has been one project that has frustrated him like crazy. I think that he is really going to be glad whenever the whole thing is over and done with. I don’t blame him one bit. I know that the HVAC contractor is going to be happy when it’s done too, because they had to go in and completely redo the ductwork job two different times because of some bad measurements that the contractor gave them at one point. It’s just been one thing after another with the setbacks around here. Now that the job is almost finally completed, I can’t wait to go and pick out the air vent covers and the air return vent covers for the house. I have an appointment with the home design company tomorrow and I can hardly wait to get this all over with. When we finally get moved into the house, I am going to definitely feel like celebrating!
