I’m really excited about going to the fair tomorrow except for one small thing. I hate the fact that there is not any air conditioning anywhere at all at the fair. I don’t like to get too hot, and I know for a fact that that is exactly what is going to happen to me at the fair. It’s one of those things that happens every year. And honestly, every single year I start to think about what I should have done differently. I think that I really need to buy one of those portable cooling devices that I can wear around on my neck or something. I know that it would probably be bulky and uncomfortable and honestly, it probably wouldn’t even work all that well, either. But the truth of the matter is that I just really need something to help me cool down. The older that I get, the more I am concerned about the fact that there needs to be air conditioning everywhere that I go. I know that this just isn’t possible, and I also know that I sound like I’m a whiner. Maybe I am to some extent, but it’s also difficult for me to go for long periods without air conditioning because of all of the health issues that I have. I can’t wait to go to the fair, but I might have to spend part of the time out in the car with the air conditioning blasting on me just so that I can cool down a little bit here and there.
