Hired the wrong men first

Over the course of my life, I have had to learn to not beat myself up all the time over little things.

For the longest time, I was a super perfectionist in every aspect of my life, and this caused me a lot of mental stress that was not necessary.

For instance, a few weeks ago I made a terrible mistake when I hired the first climate control company that I found after searching on the internet for an issue I had with my furnace not working properly. One afternoon I woke up and it was brutally cold. The thermostat simply would not adjust itself according to the commands I was putting in, so I panicked. In the end, I wound up calling the worst heating, cooling, and ventilation people in the city. The moment I began speaking to these people on the phone, it was obvious that this hating, ventilation, and air conditioning company was not what I needed. They sounded unfamiliar with a basic gas furnace problem, and they even erroneously called my heating unit a boiler system. Of course, when the heating “professional” arrived at my home, they did not quite know how to fix the problem I was having. They were surprised to find out it was a forced air gas furnace. Nevertheless, the technician got to work, although it seemed that his work was listless and absent-minded. He charged us $300, but my furnace broke a few days later. Needless to say, I did not call the same people, and I found a different HVAC business that was a much better option! Now, I just need to stop kicking myself for calling the inept HVAC repair guy in the heat of the moment.
