Heated floors are all the new wave in my city

I have been living in a metropolitan city up North for the last few years, and have definitely learned a thing or two about how to work with a good heating system.

My house originally had ductless mini split units and I immediately had to get rid of that.

I feel like those things leave so many cold spots because they don’t have any sort of zone control. I decided to have an HVAC installed instead which was a great deal of work and a lot of money. But it kept me warm in every room that I visited, so I was happy. Lately everyone has been talking about heated floors. I was super questionable about it at first because when you think of heated floors, you think that the floor is literally going to be hot and your feet might be burned. However, it operates more like radiant energy, so the heat just sort of radiates into the room without your feet ever experiencing heat like that, aside from normal heat provided from the air. It would be ridiculously expensive to swap my entire system since I just installed the new one about two years ago, but when I look at the savings that I could encounter, it might be worth it. Plus this system would be much better for my sinuses since I wouldn’t deal with forced air pushing out towards me. If there is anything that will help my sinuses and won’t make my health worse, I am all for learning more and taking it into consideration.
