My boyfriend is in a fraternity and tells me how tight he is with their air conditioning technician for their house.
The technician in my opinion is super sleazy and only continues to have a relationship with them because they let him come to their parties and drink for free.
The dude is super lonely and provides very modest air conditioning work for their house. Sometimes it pays off when the air conditioner isn’t working though. Their HVAC is so old and needs to be replaced, but the members don’t want to pool the money together for it. Their technician friend kind of just keeps the HVAC on its last legs so it doesn’t fully break down. One time it stopped working in the middle of one of their biggest parties where the rooms were completely packed with people, and since the technician was there, he was able to fix it. He became a legend that night and started handing all the girls cards for his sleazy HVAC business. I hope that no one called him. Sometimes I hate that my boyfriend is in this fraternity because I just don’t think it’s a positive and healthy environment for him to be a part of. I’ve told him my feelings about this once and he kind of just shut me up and told me I didn’t know what I was talking about. He’s also not the best boyfriend, and shows a lot of toxic masculine characteristics which I’m pretty sure he mostly picked up from the fraternity. It’s just bad energy in there.
