Social media has lots of HVAC tips

I find it so interesting to ask people about their experiences with using social media. A lot of people I know seem to love being on instagram and facebook, day in and day out. My question is why? What do you get from looking at other people’s fake lives and posting your own? Why don’t you just try to live for yourself and worry less about making staged moments for photographs? The only thing that I take away from social media is local news and tips on living better, cheaper, and more comfortably. For me a lot of that starts with the family heating, cooling, and air quality control system. Since being on socials I’ve realized,I don’t think I ever really paid attention to my heating and cooling devices before. My whole life I had a forced air furnace, a large central air conditioning system, and a basic programmable thermostat. They kept my indoor air at a livable temperature and I never considered that the indoor temperature control devices could be improved in any way. And then… I started following a local HVAC company instagram account. All of a sudden, it was clear that I was missing out on the best indoor comfort, cleanest air, and lowest energy bills. I went on a rampage, consuming everything the heating and cooling repair shop posted each day and liking all of it. I started learning about the newest innovations in indoor air quality control technology. Now I have a whole house air media purifier, a geothermal heat pump, and a smart thermostat in my home. Next will be the heated floors. My home feels amazing and so do I… not to mention all the “likes” on my HVAC posts.
