At this hotel that both of us are staying at, they are trying to make everything orange & eco-friendly, i mean, I believe that that is a wonderful thing in the long run, however when you are trying to live in this hotel for several afternoons while you are at a baseball tournament, the eco-friendly a/c just is not up to par… The problem with this type of a/c is the fact that you have to keep pushing a button to get it to come on.
The air conditioning system comes on & runs for a couple of hours, & then in order to save energy, it turns off again! This type of thing might be okay while in the day when you’re at beach beach house or if you have it at work when you have to be there & alert, however when you’re in a hotel for something love a baseball tournament, it doesn’t work entirely well at all. I recognize love it would be a better set up if there were some way to keep the air conditioning system running for longer periods of time, even if you could just set it to run for 4 or more than four hours, that would be different. The more than one hour thing is what irritated me. Even when both of us were going to sleep at night, both of us would end up waking up in a sweat because the air conditioning system would have turned off while both of us were sleeping. I understand the intent behind this type of a/c set up & I even applaud the idea behind it. I just don’t love having it in our hotel room!
