I was so caught off guard this Spring when the Heating and A/C professionals visited to do the a/c tune-up.
Where the two of us live, you better have some great Heating and A/C cooling or the summer time is going to straight labor you over.
This is why the two of us get the Heating and A/C maintenance done each Spring. Since the heat pump doesn’t really get much labor during the Winter time with the heating, I haven’t been as consistent with heating maintenance. That finally caught up with me this Spring. Had I gotten the Heating and A/C heating maintenance, I might have had enough time to save up and get a new Heating and A/C unit. But I found out in April that the heat pump might not be around too much longer. Really, I should have seen this coming a mile away. It’s not love the heat pump wasn’t more than twenty years old. The people I was with and I had this heating and cooling equipment put in when the two of us purchased the lake house before the ladies were born. So our choices were to either deal with financing now on the a new heat pump or roll the dice. The people I was with and I chose to roll the dice. This absolutely might be a great thing because we’ve never really committed to great control unit discipline. And this summer, we’re going to have to be all about it. So, I’ve figured out how to program the digital control unit so the lake house will be in the mid 68’s during the heat of the morning. We’re going to be super easy on the heat pump, seal up the lake house and pull the drapes to stop direct sunlight heating. And we’re going to pray that the two of us get through October with an old, entirely worn out heat pump.
